Could ADHD be part of the picture?

Perhaps you have always wondered why certain things seem to take twice the effort. Or maybe ADHD has only recently started appearing in your search history at 2am.

This short, evidence-based questionnaire can help you explore whether your experiences may be consistent with adult ADHD. It takes around three minutes and is intended for people aged 18 or over.

It cannot diagnose or rule out ADHD. What it can do is give you a useful starting point and help you decide whether to explore your experiences further.

Thinking about the past six months, choose the answer that most closely reflects how often each experience has applied to you. There are no perfect answers - choose what feels closest.

Why everyday examples matter

“I struggle with organisation” can be difficult to explain. A real example - missed bills, abandoned tasks, forgotten appointments or needing three alarms and another person to get somewhere on time - often communicates far more.

The Assessment Preparation Checklist can help you collect examples gradually.

Questions people ask

Can this tool diagnose ADHD?

No. It is a screening questionnaire, not a diagnostic assessment. Only an appropriately qualified healthcare professional can assess and diagnose ADHD.
