ADHD Waiting Room

The ADHD Waiting Room Membership

Free support now. A fuller member space is growing.

The ADHD Waiting Room is being developed into a guided membership for adults waiting for ADHD assessment, diagnosis, treatment or their next step.

The free articles help you understand what may be happening. The membership will help you take that understanding further with practical strategies, guided pathways, interactive tools and resources you can return to at your own pace.

You do not need to complete everything. You do not need to follow a straight line. Start with what feels useful and build from there.

What remains free

Selected Waiting Room articles, introductory guidance and the ADHD Assessment Preparation Checklist will remain available without a paid subscription.

Membership will add depth, interaction and more choice. It will not remove every useful resource from public view.

What membership will not provide

The ADHD Waiting Room Membership will be an educational resource space.

It will not provide ADHD diagnosis, personalised medical advice, prescribing, therapy, crisis support or a faster place on an NHS or private waiting list.

Medication content will be educational only. Medication decisions must remain with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

In development

What membership is being built to include

The ADHD Waiting Room Membership is planned to include:

  • Guided pathways for assessment, diagnosis, treatment waiting and life after diagnosis
  • Practical strategies for home, work, study and everyday organisation
  • Tools for routines, time, task initiation and communication
  • Energy, burnout and momentum resources
  • Interactive workbook activities
  • Printable worksheets and checklists
  • Medication education and question prompts
  • Shorter routes for days when attention or energy is limited
  • A growing library of new resources

These features are being developed and may change as the Waiting Room grows.

What would help today?

The member area is being designed around simple starting points rather than one enormous library.

Planned starting points may include:

  • Prepare for assessment
  • Understand my ADHD patterns
  • Get through today
  • Plan one manageable week
  • Sort one home life difficulty
  • Learn about medication waiting
  • Explore work or study support
  • Check in with energy and burnout
  • Browse all resources
